Legend of the Five Rings (L5R) is a line of games set in Rokugan, a land of heroic samurai, mystical shugenja, and fearsome creatures from the Shadowlands. L5R lets you tell the story. The way you build your card decks, role-play your character, or even interact with the community of L5R gamers will affect the lives of the characters in your Clan!
Samurai Edition is the exciting new base set for the Legend of the Five Rings CCG (collectible card game)! This 350+ card set features the mighty samurai and mystical shugenja of Rokugan, at war with the Shadowlands and one another. Legend of the Five Rings features an interactive storyline where the decks you build and tournaments you win can change the fortune of your Clan and its members. You tell the story of Legend of the Five Rings. That story and your actions are reflected in the cards themselves!
Samurai Edition is designed to appeal to all players of L5R, from the seasoned veteran to the samurai who is just drawing his katana for the first time. This set features the strategy, tactics, and strong Clan themes that long-time players expect, as well as a whole host of new characters for players just starting to tell their own stories.

DISTRIBUTORS, DOJO DAYS STORES, AND IMPERIAL ASSEMBLY MEMBERS. We have been working hard at the AEG offices to get things out before the year end break. Thank you all for a wonderful year of making games, throwing events, and telling stories. Here are a few important announcements for retailers, distributors and players 1) Imperial Gift - As of this week all Dojo Days stores in the system have been shipped out their Imperial Gift package including Level 0 stores. Players please go to your store to pick up your free gift and retailers make sure new players know about this amazing special. We will continue to make sure all L5R players have access to the Imperial Gift no matter where they are when we return in January. 2) The AEG Holiday break will be from December 19 Through January 5. The offices will be closed during this time. 3) The last day for orders shipping 4) Dojo Days Rewards - All level ups for the year have been shipped to stores as of this week. We want to thank retailers who have participated in this groundbreaking program and we promise even better rewards and promotions for 2009. We hope your new year is full of gaming, fun, and friends.
